National Geographic and Reuters win the Endesa Best of Show Award at Malofiej 27

The graphic ‘When Children Lack Nutrition’ publish in National Geographic win the Endesa Best of Show in print category and Reuters got the same award in the digital categories with its work A window into Delhi’s deadly pollution’. The international jury, which met in the School of Communication of the University of Navarra from March 24 to 27, decided to give two awards, for print and digital categories. In this edition, 128 media outlets from 31 different countries have sent in their works. Of the 1.050 entries in the competition, 417 correspond to printed graphics categories and 633 to digital infographics categories. It is the second time that more digital entries than printed entries have been received. The jury gave a total of 140 medals, 12 gold, 36 silver and 92 bronze medals in printed and digital media. From the 140 medals awarded by the jury, 53 went to the printed category (5 gold medals, 14 silver and 34 bronze) and 87 went to the online category (7 gold medals, 22 silver and 58 bronze). The media awarded with gold medals were:  The New York Times (USA), National Geographic (USA), Folha de S.Paulo (Brazil), Reuters (Singapore) and The Washington Post(USA).
